Questions
Why do plans gate which model I can use?
Different models cost meaningfully different amounts to run per request — the flagship models in Ultra are noticeably more expensive than the model on Free. Gating by plan is how we keep Free genuinely free without limiting how much you can read.
What happens if I hit my daily limit?
AI actions pause until the next day (resets at midnight UTC) — reading, annotating, and everything else keeps working. Upgrading raises or removes the limit immediately.
What counts toward Pro's 50 uploads a month?
Each new PDF you add. The allowance resets on the 1st of each month, and deleting a document you no longer need frees one up straight away — your existing library never counts against it, only what you add this month. Ultra has no upload cap at all.
Can I change plans later?
Yes, any time — upgrades apply immediately, downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
Is my document content used to train models?
No. Your documents and highlights are sent to the model provider only to answer your request, the same as any API call — never used for training.
